In a heartfelt social media post, the Comedy Queen shared how she regularly talks with her family every morning, often spending time discussing various topics while enjoying each other's company. According to Ai-Ai, the conversations usually revolve around family matters, including updates about a beloved family member, Mia Pot.
However, one particular discussion suddenly shifted into a nostalgic exchange when her son-in-law Vince recalled a memorable habit of her late mother.
“Halos every morning nag uusap kami family bilang gusto namin makita ang baby ng pamilya na si mia pot,” Ai-Ai wrote.

The actress said Vince suddenly laughed after remembering Mother Justa's unique way of responding whenever her children's spouses would perform the traditional gesture of pagmamano.
“Kung ano anong topic hanggang sa biglang tumawa si Dong ( my son in law Vince ) kasi naalala nya daw si INAY,” she shared.
Family members then continued exchanging stories about Mother Justa, including memories of her asking for palabok and soft drinks.
“tapos sabi Sophia naalala ko si inay nag papabili ng palabok and softdrinks ayun bigla ako umiyak nalala ko nanay ko,” Ai-Ai recalled.
The actress admitted that moments like these often leave her emotional. She also shared that her children have become accustomed to her suddenly crying before quickly returning to her cheerful self.
“masaya mga anak ko kasi pag bigla nalang ako umiiyak tapos wala na haha ayan reactions nila,” she said.
Ai-Ai also remembered something relayed to her by a caregiver who once looked after her mother. According to the caregiver, Mother Justa supposedly predicted what would happen to Ai-Ai's personal life after her passing.
“sabi daw ni Mother Justine ko pag namatay ako iiwan na ni ex ang anak ko true enough yun na nga,” she wrote.
Reflecting on the years since losing her mother, Ai-Ai admitted that visits to the cemetery often become emotional because she now feels she is facing life without her mother's presence beside her.
“kaya pag pumupunta ako sa sementryo ayan Mama mag isa nalang ako,” she shared.
Despite the tears, Ai-Ai ended her post with humor, acknowledging how quickly she can go from crying to laughing while remembering the woman who played a significant role in her life.
