Actress Christine Li has spoken out to deny claims linking her to businessman-politician Chavit Singson following a viral video that sparked online speculation.

In a four-minute video, Christine addressed the issue directly after her name and photo were circulated in reports identifying her as the woman seen holding hands with Singson.
“That's me on the upper right corner of the photo,” she said, referring to an image used in a report.
She immediately clarified:

Christine firmly denied any connection to the viral clip.
“That's not me on the video but they're claiming that I am the girlfriend of Chavit Singson,” she explained.
She further emphasized:
“I have never met Chavit Singson in my life.”
The actress shared that she reached out to Singson’s son, whom she personally knows, to address the issue. In private messages she revealed, the latter apologized and acknowledged her situation.
“Nadamay ka pa,” he said.
Christine expressed frustration over being dragged into the controversy, stressing:
“So I'm just a victim here. Victim na po ako ng fake news.”
The viral video, which shows Singson holding hands with an unidentified woman, quickly spread across social media, leading to widespread speculation about the woman’s identity.
