Ara Mina looked back on one of her most memorable experiences with Fernando Poe Jr., describing the late King of Philippine Cinema as the most gentlemanly actor she had ever worked with.

During an interview with Susan Enriquez for “Kay Susan Tayo! Vlogs,” the actress recalled her experience working with FPJ in the 2000 film Ayos Na... Ang Kasunod. At the time, Ara and FPJ were paired together in the movie and shared a kissing scene.
Ara remembered the scene in detail while explaining why she had such a high regard for FPJ’s manners and professionalism.
“May kissing scene kami sa movie namin,” sabi ng aktres.

When asked what made her consider FPJ a gentleman, Ara pointed to the way he approached the intimate scene. Rather than assuming that she was comfortable with the situation, FPJ made sure to ask her permission beforehand.
“Sobrang ano siya, 'Okay lang ba, hahalikan kita?'” Ara recalled.
For the actress, that simple gesture demonstrated FPJ’s respect toward his co-star, particularly during a scene that required physical intimacy.
Ara also shared that their filming took place in Clark, where she was dealing with jet lag at the time. Despite being tired, she agreed to proceed with the scene.
“Eh 'yung time na 'yon nasa Clark kami, shooting namin, may jet lag ako, 'Okay lang po.' So after nung kissing scene namin, parang nakatulog ako,” she said.
What happened afterward became another reason Ara remembered FPJ’s conduct so positively. According to her, the movie had another sequence in which their characters appeared to fall asleep, but Ara ended up genuinely falling asleep after their kissing scene.
“Kasi ang tagal din. After kissing scene namin... parang may eksena na nakatulog na kami kunwari... paggising ko wala siya sa tabi ko. Nakatulog talaga ako. Ibig sabihin, ganu'n siya ka-gentleman,” she added.
