On Wednesday, August 19, the actor-turned-senator shared a screenshot of his video call with Mariel as they celebrated another year of marriage despite being apart.
In the caption accompanying the photo, Robin opened his anniversary message with expressions of faith, writing “Bismillah,” which means “In the name of Allah,” followed by “Allah hu akbar,” meaning “Allah is the Greatest.”
He then reflected on the 16 years of their marriage and how their love has continued to grow stronger despite the distance between them.

Robin went on to acknowledge the challenges they have faced throughout their marriage, emphasizing that their love has continued to flourish despite the difficulties and the distance separating them.
