Despite requiring a two-hour drive from Davao City, Mariel emphasized that the trip was worth every minute.

"But more than anything, it was the warmth and hospitality that made our visit extra special. (Worth it ang 2-hour travel from Davao City) Thank you so much, Sister Myleen, for welcoming us and taking such good care of our family. We truly enjoyed every moment. 🥰," she wrote.

The uploaded photos featured the couple gear up on quad ATVs with their daughters, riding across lush green fields with mountains in the background.

The highlight of their visit was a grand boodle fight spread served on banana leaves. The meal featured rice artfully arranged to spell out the word "DAYA," surrounded by crabs, prawns, grilled fish, pancit, and fresh vegetables for the family to enjoy as well.
