The incident happened at approximately 9:45 a.m. while members of the technical team were setting up equipment for the gathering, which had originally been scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
San Juan City Police Chief Police Colonel Anthony C. Gantang said three of the injured individuals had already been discharged from the hospital. The remaining victim continued to receive medical care because of a head injury.

The San Juan City government clarified that the collapsed lighting and audio trusses were installed by a technical supplier hired directly by the private event organizer. It also emphasized that the venue itself remained structurally sound.
"The collapse involved lights and audio trusses set up by the organizer's own technical supplier for this particular event. The Filoil Centre itself remains structurally sound," the city government said in a statement dated October 30.
The local government further stressed that the supplier had no contractual relationship with the city.
Gantang also explained that the fallen equipment was separate from the arena's permanent facilities.
"Ito pong metal truss na ito, nililinaw po natin, hindi po ito structure o facility ng Filoil Arena. Ito po ay separate. Outsourced po ito ng event organizer. It so happened na nangyari siya inside Filoil Arena. Lahat naman po ng emergency responders ng San Juan City, kabilang ang CDRRMO, PNP, pati na ang Red Cross ay agad naman pong nagresponde," he said.
Emergency personnel from the city's disaster risk reduction office, police, and Philippine Red Cross assisted the victims and transported them to Cardinal Santos Medical Center.
In another report, a shooting outside a school in Barangay Prinza, Teresa, Rizal, claimed the life of a man on Thursday afternoon. GMA News' "Unang Balita" reported that the victim was hit in the head at approximately 4 p.m. before the assailant escaped. Footage of the incident, which spread across social media, showed the victim on the ground as his live-in partner stood beside him while carrying their baby. Police launched efforts to locate the person responsible for the fatal attack.
Meanwhile, an attempted robbery at a motorcycle shop in Davao City left its owner injured.
