Then dito sa neck.”
Police said the driver’s minor nephew was also inside the car during the incident. Fortunately, the child was not hurt.
Initial investigation showed that the car may have suddenly moved into the truck’s lane without noticing the approaching vehicle.
The dump truck driver also shared his account of the incident during an interview with GMA News.
Pero nasa right of way po kami. Sa linya lang kami,” the truck driver said.
Meanwhile, the injured driver’s sibling revealed that they were traveling in convoy before the accident happened.
The injured driver was rushed to the hospital after the crash. However, he reportedly declined to speak to the media.
Police later confirmed that the dump truck company would cover the driver’s medical treatment as well as the repair of the damaged vehicle.
