Taking to her verified Instagram account @jodistamaria, the award-winning actress reflected on her experience working on the newly released film EDJOP, directed by Katski Flores.

Sharing a behind-the-scenes video titled 'Becoming Joyette,' Jodi showed fans the demanding physical preparation she endured—pushing through exhaustion on stationary bikes, lifting heavy weights, swimming in open waters, and running in freezing overseas snow.

Opening her caption, Jodi described how profoundly the five-year project impacted her life in a lot of ways:

"5 years in the making. Being part of this movie is both humbling and meaningful for me. This is a story about a man who believed in something bigger than himself... who he was, what he stood for and the sacrifices he made for what he believed was right."

In the video's voiceover, Jodi candidly admitted that transforming into Joyette—an elite Filipina triathlete who competed in the grueling North Pole Marathon—tested her body and mind like never before:

"Hindi siya madali. Months of training, and it doesn’t stop just because you’re tired... And it wasn’t just about the training, it was about giving life to Joyette. I had the privilege and the responsibility of getting to know the woman behind the athlete. Not just how she moved, but who she was."
