“Paki-shutdown lang, paki-takedown,” the Filipino rapper pleaded with the candidate.

Since then, many have been using popular songs as campaign jingles.

But Pocholo De Leon Gonzales, founder of The Voice Master of the Philippines/Creative Voices Artist Program, said that it is possible to have an original jingle made, because permission is required before a song can be used as copyrighted music.

It is easier now because artificial intelligence or AI can also be used, but the candidate's idea is still needed.
