When asked about his son's character, Christopher described him as an incredibly kind and generous boy who always put his friends first.

The heartbreaking loss has left a massive void in their household. Christopher admitted that the weight of the reality is something they are struggling to navigate.
While the local community and school officials have since reached out to offer aid, Christopher made it clear that financial or material support cannot replace his son. He emphasized that the top priority of their family right now is legal accountability.
Yun po ang gusto namin, justice," he pointed out.
Since the suspects involved in the incident are minors who may be exempted from heavy criminal sentences under current law, Christopher argued that the parents must face the legal consequences of their children's actions. He expressed that kids would not learn how to handle firearms if they weren't taught or given access by adults.
As previously reported by KAMI, Vice President Sara Duterte visited the wake of victims of the Tacloban City school shooting early Wednesday morning. She personally met with grieving families, offering condolences and emotional support during their time of loss. Duterte assured the families that efforts would be made to ensure justice for the victims of the tragedy. The shooting at San Jose National High School left three teenagers dead and 20 others injured.
Meanwhile, Jennelyn Badoria, mom of one of the victims of the Leyte school shooting, demands full legal accountability for the weapon owners linked to the tragic incident. Investigators discovered that one of the weapons used by the suspects belongs directly to an active law enforcement officer. The second confiscated weapon was officially registered to a commercial security firm based outside the province in Cebu City.
