Jose Mari Chan is the center of Pinoy memes every September, as his iconic classic song “Christmas in Our Hearts,” starts getting played again on business establishments around the country.

KAMI learned that the famous singer finally opened up about his honest feelings about the memes.

During his guesting on the GMA-7 program “Sunday PINASaya,” Chan said that he feels flattered about the memes.

However, he took exception to the memes that are offensive.

“Natutuwa ako, I’m complimented. I feel complimented and flattered.

“But I wish they would not make offensive memes… You know, this song is a gift from our Lord that I share with our countrymen,” Chan said on the show.
