Alice Guo’s detention facility photos have been shared by the Philippine National Police to the public.

In a series of photos, the PNP showed that the detention facility, which is situated at PNP custodial center in Camp Crame, Quezon City, is very simple and common.

Photos of the detention facility showed it has its own toilet and bath, as well as a small table where the dismissed Bamban official can have her meals and coffee.

One of the photos also showed it has a bed that can fit a single person.

The walls were bare though in one photo showing the bed, one can also see what appeared to be a highly elevated window and beside it, an exhaust fan.

The detention facility, which has tile floors, seem to be very clean.

It can be recalled that the dismissed mayor of Bamban, Tarlac, was recently captured in Jakarta, Indonesia, by Indonesian authorities, then turned over to Philippine officials and brought back to the Philippines.

A court has issued a warrant for her arrest, something that Guo’s lawyer said might prevent her from attending Senate hearings, though in an update yesterday, Sen. Risa Hontiveros showed a document proving that the court has granted permission for the dismissed official to attend said hearings.

Alice Leal Guo is the Mayor of the Municipality of Bamban, Tarlac. She won as mayor during the national elections in 2022. She became known nationwide after her name was dragged into the ongoing Senate investigations regarding Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations or (POGO) and the alleged proliferation of illegal immigrants. Her name has been the subject of many online memes since then.

Earlier, the PNP has issued a statement saying that Guo would not be receiving any special treatment. She will be staying in an ordinary detention room, where there would only be one bed, an electric fan and a comfort room. There would be no aircon in the room of the dismissed Bamban mayor, ABS-CBN News reported. PNP Spokesperson PCol. Jean Fajardo also noted that the ex-mayor has mentioned that she has been receiving death threats.

In a related news, Guo was granted by the Tarlac court to attend the senate hearing on Monday. Sen. Hontiveros shared the actual copy of the court's order. It was stated that the court received a letter from the lady senator's office requesting of Alice's appearance on Sept. 9, 10:00 a.m. Along with the order, the PNP Custodial Center was ordered to bring Alice to the court.
