On Sunday, September 27, Pia took to social media to share photos from their movie date, which brought the family together for another memorable experience.

In her caption, Pia revealed that it was their second time watching the animated movie, this time with more of their family members joining them. She expressed her happiness over spending the day with her loved ones, writing, "09.27.2026 second time to watch Forgotten Island, this time with more of the fam."

Pia also shared their excitement upon seeing that the cinema was packed with moviegoers. She encouraged those who had not yet seen the film to watch it, adding, "Happy Sunday, indeed!! We were thrilled to see the cinema was packed. Go see it if you still haven’t."

Notably, "Forgotten Island" features the song "Mga Kababayan" by the late Francis Magalona, with P-pop group SB19 performing a new rendition of the iconic track.

Directed by DreamWorks Animation filmmakers Joel Crawford and Filipino-American filmmaker Januel Mercado, “Forgotten Island” puts Filipino culture, folklore, and mythology at the heart of its story. The animated film features Liza Soberano and H.E.R. as the voices of its main characters, Raissa and Jo, respectively. Their involvement adds to the film’s Filipino representation while bringing the central characters to life through their voice performances.

Francis Magalona was one of the most prominent hip-hop artists in the Philippines and became widely known for his contributions to OPM. He was also beloved as one of the hosts of “Eat Bulaga,” where he further established himself as a familiar figure in Philippine entertainment. Francis M was married to Pia Magalona, and their children include celebrities Maxene, Saab, and Elmo Magalona.
