Glenda Dela Cruz Victorio opened up about the criticism she has been receiving as she began another learning experience at Harvard Business School.

In an Instagram post, the Brilliant Skin Essentials CEO, popularly known as Miss Glenda, shared glimpses of her first day and her transfer from an Airbnb accommodation to a Harvard Business School residence.
Along with the update, Glenda directly addressed people who had questioned her posts about Harvard.
“I get it. Kahit na anong gawin ko, maraming sasabihin ang mga tao,” she wrote.

The entrepreneur admitted that she initially planned to stay quiet and focus on her studies. However, she said the continued criticism eventually tested her patience.
“I wanted to stay silent and focus here pero nakakaubos din ng pasensya,” she added.
Glenda then explained why she continues to document parts of her journey online.
According to the content creator, she has been sharing different parts of her life with her followers since 2016. She said some of them have followed her journey for years and are genuinely interested in what she does.
She also addressed questions about why she previously revealed the amount she paid for her studies.
“First, the reason why I revealed the tuition fee is not to brag, sinabi ko yun dahil sa comments ng mga bashers,” she explained.
Miss Glenda also responded to claims that anyone could simply join the program. She noted that admission is selective and considers factors such as professional achievements, organizational responsibilities, and the requirements of a particular program.
Harvard Business School states that its Executive Education programs use a selective admissions process based on professional achievement, organizational responsibility, and the criteria set for each program.
For Glenda, however, the bigger point was the personal value of the experience.
“Gusto ko lang naman i-share yung Harvard experience ko kasi the past years, hindi ko nagawa,” she said.
She added, “I just wanted to learn, grow and heal my inner child.”
The businesswoman also said she hopes her journey can encourage others who, like her, were unable to complete their formal schooling.
“Gusto kong ma-inspire ang mga hindi nakatapos katulad ko,” she shared.
Despite the negative comments, Glenda made it clear that she considers the opportunity an achievement.
“For me, this is an achievement,” she said.
She also credited the supporters of Brilliant Skin Essentials for helping make the experience possible, before ending her message by saying she would return her focus to studying.
