KZ Tandingan confirmed that she and husband TJ Monterde were indeed spotted inside an adult toy store during their trip to Amsterdam, but clarified that the couple did not actually purchase anything.

The singer made the revelation during her appearance with TJ on the third episode of “Gandang Gabi Vice” on Sunday, September 27. The couple took part in the show’s “Deep Truth” segment, where guests reveal a surprising detail and Vice Ganda, together with the Geng Gang, tries to determine whether the story is true or false.
One of the claims presented to Vice was the rumor that KZ and TJ had been caught buying an adult toy. KZ explained that the story was partly true, although the circumstances were different from what the rumor suggested.
“Charot na may halong trot, ate. Kasi pumunta nga po kami ng Amsterdam. Ta's pagdating kasi namin do'n, sobrang lamig. Tapos pumunta kaming red light district.”

According to KZ, they had underestimated how cold Amsterdam would be. Because of the weather, they decided to enter whichever establishments were open and had heating.
“Pero ini-estimate namin 'yong lamig. So kung ano mang store ang bukas, pumapasok kami [kasi may heater sa loob],”
While inside the store, the couple apparently caught the attention of the female attendant, who noticed them and approached to ask what they needed.
KZ then recalled how TJ asked about one of the products displayed inside the shop.
“Si TJ, teh, gumanon lang siya [minuwestra ang kamay na parang may inabot na bagay]. 'How do you use this?'”
KZ said she also repeated TJ’s question to the store attendant.
“Yeah, how do you use this?”
The attendant proceeded to explain how the product worked. Despite the unusual encounter, however, KZ clarified that neither she nor TJ ended up purchasing the item they had asked about.
