A new blind item on KALURKS! drew attention after an alleged showbiz actor was described as demanding a talent fee that a television production could not afford.

The blind item was revealed during the third episode of KALURKS!, where gossip host Lurkey shared another celebrity story with guest Kaurkers Gladys Reyes and Kakai Bautista.
According to Lurkey, a TV show's production team was reportedly surprised by the amount of money allegedly requested by a “has-been actor.”
“Naloka ang production team ng isang TV show dahil sa napakalaking talent fee na hinihingi ng isang has-been actor.”

Lurkey claimed that the actor became upset after the talent coordinator explained that the requested amount was outside the show's budget.
“Nung nagpaliwanag ang talent coordinator na hindi ito pasok sa budget, nagalit pa raw si actor at sinabihan siyang, 'If you can't afford me, don't call me!' Kalurks!”
The blind item also alleged that the actor suggested another way for the production to cover his talent fee.
“At eto pa! Nagsabi rin daw si actor na abonohan na lang ng host ng show ang talent fee niya!”
The story prompted the KALURKS! panel to speculate about the identity of the actor being described.
DJ Jhai Ho, the show's host, said he believed Gladys Reyes might have previously worked with the person mentioned in the blind item.
When DJ Jhai Ho showed Gladys where he thought she had encountered the actor, the actress appeared to recognize who they were referring to.
“Alam ko na! Alam mo, kaya alam kong siya 'yan kasi nu'ng gini-guest ko rin siya sa vlog ko... so may first-hand experience din ako.”
Gladys then recalled how she had planned to invite the actor to her YouTube channel because of their previous professional connection.
“'Di ba mayroon din akong YouTube channel, so per season non igi-guest ko sana siya.”
She explained that because they had worked together before, she initially thought the actor's approach was related to a possible endorsement opportunity.
“Tapos kasi syempre bilang magkatrabaho kami before, so parang prinesyuhan n'ya 'ko na something na parang akala mo kukunin ko siya [for] endorsement,” natatawang sabi ng aktres.
When asked about the actor's profession, Gladys clarified that he was not an entrepreneur.
“Rapper siya.”
The discussion remained framed as a blind-item guessing segment, with the identity of the person being inferred by the show's guests rather than formally named in the episode excerpt.
