Title suggestions ng “legit Dabarkads” sa bago nilang show, kinagiliwan

TV5 recently shared on social media a hilarious video showing Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon and the "legit Dabarkads."

In the one-minute video, the TV hosts made title suggestions for their upcoming noontime show, which is set to air on TV5 starting July 1.

"The Allan K show," Ryan Agoncillo said in jest.

To which Allan K reacted, "Ha?"

"Allan K and the Dabarkads," Ryan continued.

"Wow!" Allan responded.

"JoWaPao and the Dabarkads," Paolo Ballesteros jokingly suggested, prompting Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola to laugh.

"With the TVJ," Paolo continued.

Jose then reacted, "Baligtad!"

"Ah baligtad ba?" Paolo asked Jose.

"TVJ with the Dabarkads," Jose replied.

Maine Mendoza hilariously suggested, "Agalub Tae."

"Eat Bulagang binaligtad," she explained.

Jose then aired a witty suggestion, "Eat All You Can. Hangga't kaya mo, hangga't hindi ka pa busog, kainin mo lang nang kainin 'yan. Ganu'n din 'yung sayang ibibigay natin. Hangga't kaya mong lunukin, lunukin mo nang lunukin. Walang limit yan."

"Ako, as long as may TVJ sa title. Kasi EB is TVJ, TVJ is EB," Allan further said.

Meanwhile, Joey put forward, "Sa opening kaya kanya-kanya tayong title."

After Vic and Tito laughed at his proposal, Joey underscored, "Seryoso ako do'n."

“Para masaya. Eto ang first time mangyayari. Ang TV show na ang daming title, diba? Record na naman tayo," Joey explicated.

"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto. Tape Inc.'s "Eat Bulaga" recently went back live on air on GMA with its new lineup of hosts, including Paolo Contis, Buboy Villar and Betong Sumaya.

The portraits of the previous "Eat Bulaga" hosts, also referred to as the "Legit Dabarkads," graced the walls of TV5 Media Center's hallway. TV5 took to its social media pages and shared a video of the portraits. Aside from the show's pioneer hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon's images, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Maine Mendoza, Allan K, Ryan Agoncillo, Carren Eistrup and Ryzza Mae Dizon's portraits were also spotted.

Tito Sotto took to social media and shared a couple of photos of the “legit Dabarkads.” One of the photos shows him, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon posing for the camera with TV5 executives. Along with the pictures, Tito likewise penned a meaningful caption. The former Senate president’s caption has a message about loyalty.
