Speaking candidly with reporters at a media gathering, the It's Showtime host was asked about personal pronoun preferences. Without missing a beat, Vice clarified their stance on labels and pronouns with absolute ease:

"I am gay. That's my gender identity, I am gay. And ang pronouns ko, kahit ano: he, she, kahit ano, wag lang 'it.' Kahit ano."

Vice elaborated that being referred to by male pronouns or traditional masculine honorifics causes no offense whatsoever:

"I don't mind being called a he, being called a sir, okay lang sa akin," the Kapamilya star reiterated.

The breezy and authentic response resonated warmly with netizens on social media. Many praised Vice for demonstrating that confidence in one's identity comes from within and for showing everyone how to embrace themselves without sweating the small stuff.

Instead of ignoring the feedback, main host Vice Ganda personally checked the source online.

Meanwhile, Kara David admitted to being starstruck after meeting Vice Ganda in person. ​Vice served as the guest commencement speaker for the graduation ceremony at the UP College of Mass Communication (CMC). ​The multimedia star delivered a brave and striking speech, urging the new graduates to prioritize truth, education, and social change as well.
