Ogie Diaz, in a recent post on Facebook, defended his earlier pronouncements as to who he believes would win awards in the recently-concluded Metro Manila Film Festival 2024.
It can be recalled that Ogie shared his fearless prediction in an earlier post as to who would win Best Actor, or what he thinks would be declared as Best Picture.
In a subsequent post, which was after all the winners have been declared, Ogie wondered why the Best Director is different from what was expected by many.

Kaso, sina Mike Tuviera for ‘The Kingdom’ at Crisanto B. Aquino for ‘My Future You’ ang nag-tie,” he further said in his post.
He then proceeded to defend his pronouncement regarding the Best Director.
Kesa murahin ko ang mga yan, di ba?” the showbiz reporter and talent manager further said.
Mama Ogs then proceeded to express his opinion regarding the actuations of some bashers.
The showbiz reporter and talent manager then expressed belief that whatever he says, there will always be someone who would be bashing him.
“For sure, ang tanong n’yo ngayon: Naapektuhan ba ako kasi pinost ko pa? Nako, wa echos. Hindi. Not a bit. (Gusto mo yung not a bit? Hahaha!). Nakalimutan nilang nobody’s perfect,” he said.
And you really cannot please everybody.
Mama Ogs said.
