In a candid Instagram post, the beauty queen opened up about a side of herself that only a few people have seen. She acknowledged that pregnancy brought out what she described as her most vulnerable side, even though it was not the version of herself she usually shows publicly.

“Pregnancy has been one of the most challenging and humbling experiences I had to go through emotionally and mentally.I experienced my mental health at its lowest and many were the days where I thought ‘I can’t do this,’” she admitted.

Celeste also talked about the physical changes that came with carrying her child. Her growing tummy and acne breakouts became visible reminders of the transformation her body was undergoing, but she said the changes went far beyond her appearance.

“I felt sadness, despair, anxiety, depression and at times, an overwhelming sense of loneliness - all while fighting in trying to stay healthy, take care of myself, facing challenges and balance my hormones - something I definitely underestimated. Everything manifested in my skin, my mood, and my body,” she explained.

The experience also affected the way Celeste viewed herself during her pregnancy.

“I saw a version of me I could barely recognize and some days I struggled to look at myself and feel like me,” she added.

Despite the difficult moments, the former beauty queen said the experience helped her discover a kind of strength she did not know she possessed. It also gave her a greater appreciation for mothers who navigate similar physical and emotional struggles.

Celeste had publicly announced her pregnancy earlier this year with her ex-partner, Jonathan Sterling. Now nearing childbirth, she is focused on the new chapter that awaits her as a mother.
