On his grand finals performance, he sang Brian May's iconic song, "Too Much Love Will Kill You."

His astounding performance amazed the judges, the audience, including those who were watching on TV.

Among the finalists, Jovit topped the overnight texts and online votes, reaching 48.81 percent.

As per the account of the family of the singer, he was comatose for five days.

Prior to his demise, he was already under hypertension medicines and was advised not to perform, but still continued doing so at a friend's birthday party in Batangas.

In one of his iconic answers, Dingdong Dantes asked him a question about the sea, to which he answered "siokoy." Jovit died on Dec. 9, at 4:08 a.m. at the Jesus of Nazareth Hospital.

Jovit's sudden passing has stunned several netizens all over social media. Recently, on Twitter, MJ Felipe released a series of posts regarding the late singer's final moments. As per his report, the late singer was revealed to have been invited by a family friend from Batangas City. Reports state that Jovit still sang three songs for the crowd even though he was advised not to sing while recuperating.
