Michael V. shared how Dingdong Dantes reacted to the news of his temporary stint as the host of “Family Feud,” revealing that the veteran actor and television presenter was already expressing his support even before the arrangement was officially finalized.

As reported by “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” Michael V discussed taking over hosting duties for the GMA program while Dantes temporarily steps away.
According to Michael V., Dantes was in the United States when the two communicated about the upcoming change. Interestingly, Dantes reached out before the comedian’s deal with the program had even been completely settled.
“Prior to my dry run dito sa Family Feud, nag-message na siya sa akin nasa America siya,” Michael V. recalled.

He explained that the message arrived while he was still working out the details of the arrangement with his wife and manager.
“Parang hindi pa nga namin naisara ’yung deal ng wife ko, ng manager ko, kinongratulate na niya agad at tsaka nag-express na siya ng happiness, ng positivity, na ako ’yung papalit sa kanya pansamantala dito sa show na ’to,” he said.
The comedian’s account suggests that Dantes was supportive of the transition from the beginning. Dantes reportedly congratulated Michael V. and conveyed positive feelings about the comedian stepping into the role.
