Dingdong Dantes has announced that he will temporarily take a break from hosting GMA Network’s popular game show Family Feud as he focuses on the upcoming tapings of his series, The Master Cutter.

The actor made the announcement during the September 16 episode of Family Feud, where he addressed the show's viewers and explained his decision to step away from the program for the meantime.
“May mahalagang announcement po ako sa inyong lahat tulad ng mga naipangako ko nitong mga nakaraang araw,” saad ni Dingdong.
Dingdong shared that his temporary break is connected to his commitment to his ongoing television series, which continues to receive support from viewers.

“Dahil po sa walang sawa ninyong pagtangkilik sa The Master Cutter, at dahil kailangan kong tutukan ang mga paparating na taping ng programa para lalo pa po itong mapaganda, pansamantala po akong magpapahinga bilang host ng Family Feud.”
The announcement comes as Dingdong prepares to dedicate more time to The Master Cutter. The GMA series is among his current television projects, and he emphasized the importance of focusing on its upcoming production requirements.
Despite his temporary absence, viewers can still look forward to new episodes of Family Feud. Michael V., one of the network's well-loved Kapuso personalities, will take over hosting duties starting September 17.

“Huwag po kayong mag-alala dahil tuloy-tuloy pa rin po ang More Tawa, More Saya episodes ng pinakamasayang family game show sa buong mundo dahil habang wala po ako sa programa, sasamahan muna kayo ng isa sa mga iniidolo, ginagalang at minamahal ko at minamahal nating Kapuso, si Mr. Michael V.”
