The actress shared her thoughts during a showbiz report by Aubrey Carampel aired on “24 Oras.” Aside from expressing admiration for Dingdong, who currently stars as the lead actor of the series, Marian was also asked whether she would be interested in appearing on the show.

Marian said she is open to the possibility of guesting on “The Master Cutter.” However, she made it clear that she would want to take on a role that would give her a different dynamic with her husband on screen.

“Why not? Pero sabi ko sa kanya, [if] given a chance kung mag-ge-guest ako, ayokong kakampi, gusto ko kalaban [kontrabida]. 'Di ba? For a change,” Marian said.

Her response highlighted her interest in taking on a role that differs from the characters she may typically portray, especially if she gets the chance to share the screen with Dingdong in the ongoing series.

Marian’s willingness to play a villain also adds an interesting possibility to a potential guest appearance. Instead of being introduced as someone who would support Dingdong’s character, she would want to create conflict by becoming his character’s adversary.

The actress has previously shared the screen with Dingdong in various projects, making the idea of seeing the married couple face off in a dramatic series particularly intriguing for viewers. This time, however, Marian wants their characters to be on opposite sides.

For now, Marian’s appearance on “The Master Cutter” remains a possibility rather than a confirmed guest role. Still, her clear preference for playing the antagonist has already given fans an idea of the kind of character she would want if the opportunity eventually comes.
