So very happy ako sa aming vacation. Parang kumbaga bonding time with the kids,” she shared.

For Marian, becoming a wife and mother brought a noticeable shift in how she views her finances. She explained that before having a family, she mainly thought about saving for herself or spending on things she personally wanted.

The celebrity ambassador also stressed that she does not simply accept endorsements based on popularity or opportunity. Instead, she considers whether a brand shares values that are important to her, especially family, hard work, and helping fellow Filipinos.

Meanwhile, Marian admitted that she and Dingdong have not yet formally discussed money management with their children. Instead, they have introduced a system where Zia and Sixto earn points by completing household tasks before getting something they want.

So ang ginagawa namin is i-earn nila. Pag may gusto sila, may kailangan silang gawin something na inuutos namin na clean your room, wash ganito tapos may points sila para mabili yung mga gusto nila. So dun siguro nagsisimula yun. Siguro pag si Zia — ano siya ngayon mag-i-11 years old — siguro by 13.

As her children get older, Marian hopes they will develop the same appreciation for money that she learned while growing up.

So siguro gradual siya. Pinagtrabahuan ko, pinag-igihan ko kaya ko nakuha yun. So gusto ko ganun din sila paglaki nila. May gusto ka? Pagtrabahuan mo para pag nasa ‘yo, pahahalagahan mo,” she explained.
