Marcus Adoro, the lead guitarist of the iconic band, Eraserheads, has penned an open letter to his daughter, Syd Hartha Chua, amid abuse allegations.
On his Instagram account, @marcusadoros, KAMI learned that the Filipino musician asked for a "second chance" from his daughter.
Earlier, after Ely Buendia posted a photo about the band's reunion, fans took to Twitter to air their opinions about Marcus being included in the concert.
Following this news, in an online post, Marcus penned an open letter where he revealed that he already lost contact with his daughter for years now.

According to Marcus, he has been trying to reach out to his daughter via her manager, however, he is not sure if his "messages are getting through."
"I've lost contact with my daughter for years now. Recently, I've tried to reach out to her through her manager, but I'm not sure if my messages are getting through. So, I'm making this post. Syd, san ka man, I hope you're doing well," he wrote.
In his open letter, Marcus told his daughter that it is "normal" if she wants nothing to do with him seeing as he is "far from perfect."
"As you already know, I'm far from perfect kaya normal if you want nothing to do with me. Sana lang magkaroon ng second chance for redemption," he wrote.
By the end of his post, Marcus apologized for the ruckus that his issue has stirred online, saying sorry to his family, the fans, the sponsors, and his bandmates.
"I'm sorry for the ruckus that I may have caused my family, the public, the sponsors, and my bandmates. Pasensya na. I also want to thank the people who are supporting E-Heads' art. Please continue to support the E-Heads reunion. Alay po sa ating lahat ito," he wrote.
Marcus Antonius Corpuz Adoro is a Filipino musician who was the lead guitarist of the alternative rock band, Eraserheads, alongside Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, and Raimund Marasigan.
As previously reported by KAMI, Eraserheads, one of the most popular bands in Philippine music history, appears to be headed for a reunion this coming December. In what might seem to be a confirmation of the said reunion concert, former members of the said band displayed a poster on their respective social media accounts of the scheduled event happening on December 22, 2022.
Meanwhile, in September of last year, Ely Buendia, the former frontman of the band, trended on social media when he answered the question of whether there is still a chance for an Eraserheads reunion. On the morning of September 28, the singer-composer held a Q&A for his followers on his Twitter account.
