He continued by reminding KC that things can happen for a reason and have a purpose.
“So everything has reason and everything has a purpose. There are no coincidence, which is a relief. It’s gonna be okay,” Kiko added.
His answer became one of the meaningful moments from their father-daughter bonding.
KC also made it clear in her caption that she had missed spending this kind of quality time with her family.
“Finally… date night with Dad, missed this,” she wrote.

“Good food, great stories, the best life advice. LOVE quality time with my family~~” the actress added.
The post offered a glimpse of their conversation beyond the usual dinner date, with KC choosing to ask her dad for guidance that younger people could also relate to.
Kiko’s advice centered on letting go of things that cannot be controlled and trusting that not everything has to be figured out immediately.
Before ending her post, KC also congratulated her mother, Sharon Cuneta, on the premiere of Honor Thy Mother.
“Ma, congrats on Honor Thy Mother premiere!” she wrote.

Sharon Cuneta is a premier singer, actress, and television icon. Launching her stellar career in the 1970s with the breakout hit "Mr. DJ," she later dominated cinema with multi-awarded classics like Madrasta, Caregiver, and Bituing Walang Ningning. She is married to Senator Francis Pangilinan and is the mother of star KC Concepcion.
It can be recalled that the renowned entertainer fiercely refuted allegations raised by eighteen self-proclaimed former Marines, labeling them as outright liars for linking her family to suitcases of illegal funds. Clarifying a controversial photograph in her online vlog, she explained that the image was taken during a Marawi visit to express gratitude to officials, firmly dismissing claims of illicit payoffs. Controversy surrounding the Senate Blue Ribbon panel mounted as lawmakers openly questioned the physical feasibility and credibility of the witnesses' claims. Maintaining that her household's assets were earned through honest hard work, Sharon emphasized her clean reputation while calling on divine justice to prevail over false accusations.
Previously, she posted a poignant photograph featuring her husband, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, alongside veteran politician Senator Tito Sotto. Accompanying the picture was a reflective quote emphasizing the importance of remaining on the right side of history and championing human rights. Her digital post quickly circulated online amid major leadership shifts inside the Senate chamber involving both legislators. Following legislative realignments, Tito lost his position as Senate President, placing both Kiko and him within the minority bloc.
