Andi Eigenmann, in an Instagram post, reminisced about the reason why she opted to live on the island of Siargao.

It was in 2018 when the actress arrived on the island, where she also met her fiancé, Philmar Alipayo, a professional surfer.
After more than three years, their relationship produced two offsprings, Lilo and Koa.
In her recent IG post, the actress said that she hasn’t been visiting a certain place on the island to reminisce.

“Haven't been getting personal on here much recently.. i also kinda enjoyed our time being out of coverage up north of Siargao, for a little over a week,” Andi wrote alongside her post.
She revealed that she would visit the place to remind herself on why she chose to live in Siargao.
“Taking advantage of that was a great way for me to slow down and spend some QT with my family (and myself!) Goin up served as a nice refresher to remind myself why I chose to move my life here in the first place,” the actress said.
She also expressed her love for the place, calling it her “great escape”
“Love this place of our friends' for a great escape from the ~business of GL. You can also check out @surfbayay to inquire for your own change of scenery!” Andi wrote.
Andi Eigenmann is a Filipina actress and model. She is the daughter of actors Mark Gil and Jaclyn Jose, and is the half-sister of actors Sid Lucero, Gabby Eigenmann and Max Eigenmann. Andi has a daughter named Ellie with her ex-boyfriend Jake Ejercito. She also has a baby girl named Lilo and a baby boy named Koa with her fiancé, Philmar Alipayo.
Recently, Andi posted a short, but heartfelt greeting, for her deceased father, Mark Gil. The late actor is the former partner of veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, the mother of Andi. He died way back on September 1, 2014, after battling with a chronic ailment. According to Andi, she sees her father every day in her own son, Koa Eigenmann Alipayo.
She also previously posted her very first surfing reel on Instagram where one could see her surfing prowess. The actress said that recording her surfing activity on video is very crucial if she wants to improve her skill in surfing. She also thanked someone she called Mr. style master of the kanaway surfschool for giving her tips. Andi has been living in Siargao with her kids and partner, professional surfer Philmar Alipayo, for more than three years now.
