Raffy Tulfo’s first grandchild is warmly welcomed by netizens and celebrities who are happy for the “Sumbungan ng Bayan” and his family.

The radio celebrity’s only daughter, Maricel “Mar” Tulfo, finally gave birth to a healthy baby boy, whom they named Grayson Maxwell Tulfo-Tungol.
On Saturday, November 28, Mar delivered her first baby with her husband, Atty. Garreth, Tungol via cesarean section. Baby Grayson weighed 3.6 kg upon birth.
Several celebrities congratulated the new parents and family on the baby. Some of these included actor Diego Loyzaga, Rona Tai of the Amazing Race (Tara) Season 5, and celebrity photographer Pat Dy.

The bundle of joy is the first grandchild of the veteran broadcast journalist Raffy Tulfo.
For Mar, her baby is “the best Christmas gift.” She posted the first photo of the baby on her Instagram account and captioned it with:
“GRAYSON MAXWELL TULFO TUNGOL born on Nov. 28,2020 at 1:36 p.m with a weight of 3.6 kg
THE BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT I HAVE EVER RECEIVED ”
The new mother made sure to capture her experience in a vlog. Starting November 26, after she was induced, she began keeping logs of her journey. Originally, she and the family were hoping she could give birth through normal delivery.
However, since the induced labor did not work, Mar had to go through C-section for the safety of the baby. Fortunately, Baby Grayson came out healthy.
His grandfather has yet to comment on this new blessing in his family.
Mar and Atty. Garreth got married last September. They received admiration from supporters, especially from the fans of RTIA.
Before most people could find out that Raffy Tulfo is Atty. Garreth’s father-in-law, the young lawyer is already known to many as the regular attorney on RTIA, from whom Idol Raffy usually asks legal advice.
