Klea's sister, who was identified as "ky" in the comment section, responded by explaining that their father was born with a condition called microtia.

She also encouraged the commenter to learn more about the condition, noting that it has different stages.

However, the same netizen later posted another comment that appeared to mock their father's disability.

This prompted the actress's sister to speak up and share a longer statement about the condition and the importance of respecting people with disabilities.

"Hi! I don't usually respond to these types of things but since someone decided to be ignorant might as well take this opportunity to spread awareness instead," she began.

She then explained that microtia is a birth defect in which the outer ear does not fully develop or is missing.

The young woman emphasized that her father's condition is something he was born with and should never be used as a reason to ridicule him.

"It's not something that happened 'to' someone, and it's nothing to be ashamed of," she stressed.

Klea's sister also pointed out that people do not have to like someone or their family, but making fun of a disability crosses a line.

"My papa’s disability is not a punchline, a joke or something you get to use to attack someone else," she stated.

She continued by reminding the commenter that mocking another person's disability does not make anyone funny or cool.

The actress's sibling also questioned why someone would resort to making fun of a condition that a person has had since birth just to attack another individual.

"That says more about you than it ever will about my papa," she concluded.
