Dennis Trillo bags Korean award, selfie with Song Joong Ki!

Dennis Trillo just bag two great things yesterday at the 11 Seoul International Drama Awards that happened at KBS Hall, Yeouido, South Korea.
The first thing he won was the Asian Star Prize for his acting role in GMA Network’s “My Faitful Husband.” He played the role of ‘Emman’ in the series with co-star and real life girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.
Other Asian celebrities like Taiwanese actor Jasper Liu and Hong Kong star Anthony Wong received the Asian Male Star prize as well. Apparently, Trillo is the first Filipino to win this award from SIDA.

Trillo thanked the SIDA for recognizing his talent and honoring him with the award. He also shared how important this award to him because it was given by “korean people who is very well known in Korea for creating the best dramas in the world.” This award serves as an inspiration for him as a dramatic actor.
He dedicated this milestone in his life to his “home network GMA-7, my family, my love ones, for all the Filipinos and to my supporters.”
The Kapuso actor is proud to be pinoy and also thanked director Joyce Bernal, his manager Popoy Caritativo, and his mamaw and girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado in one of his posts.

The second great thing that happened with Dennis Trillo during the awarding ceremony was that he got up close and personal with Descendants of the Sun lead actor Song Joong Ki! Not only that, he was also able to take a selfie with him! In his post, Trillo is overwhelmed with all the good things that happened that night.
