She then addressed the “GGSS” label and openly expressed how she views herself.

“I’m not GGSS. I know & feel I’m maganda in my own way & it shows,” EJ said.

The journalist added that “everyone is maganda in their own way.” She also said she was not pretending to be cute and believed anyone should be free to express confidence whenever they wanted.

“I don’t intend to ‘mag feeling cute’ because I’m cute, whenever I need & want to,” she stated.

EJ also said she did not mind if the netizen found her aura unusual. However, she admitted that she found the criticism itself strange.

“What’s weird to me is this post of yours. Know that ü can’t fool a confident woman. So yes, IKAW LANG YAN,” she wrote.

She described the discussion as one filled with honest opinions and “painful counterarguments.” For EJ, conversations that call out negative behavior should be encouraged instead of ignored.

The journalist later assured her supporters that she remained unaffected by the remark.

“We’re not moved by this kind of nuisance or demolition job,” she said.

EJ explained that she only responded because she did not want to tolerate negativity. She also made it clear that the incident would not stop her from fulfilling her responsibilities.

Meanwhile, I-Witness released a detailed official statement following online claims seeking to discredit Kara David's Subic dumpsite report.
