Taking to her Instagram account under her handle @iamkaradavid, the I-Witness host uploaded a photo of a blue amenity pack given to her by the crew of flight PR2533. On the front of the pack was a carefully handwritten letter addressed to her and the mark she made in television.

Grateful for the sudden gesture of appreciation, Kara shared her joy in a simple caption. "What a nice surprise. Salamat po :) PR2533," Kara wrote in her post.

The flight crew used the small space to express their admiration for Kara's long-standing commitment to truthful, fearless, and unbiased reporting when it comes to the country.

"Ms. Kara David," the handwritten note opened. "Maraming salamat sa iyong tapat na serbisyo at walang kinikilingang paghahatid ng balita. Isa kang inspirasyon ng bawat Pilipino. Mabuhay ka! It is an honor to have you onboard," the team wrote.

Below the moving message, the crew members signed their names and designations to mark the memorable flight of the veteran journalist. The signatures in the letter included Captain Demalata, First Officer Sinaking, Flight Attendants Kylie and Angel, as well as Flight Stewards EJ and Jon.
