Xian Gaza has spoken out about the criticism faced by influencers who promote online sugal, arguing that greater attention should be directed toward the operators behind the said platforms.

On his Facebook account on Wednesday, August 26, the social media personality shared his perspective on why influencers should not be the primary targets of criticism.

“Kung ayaw mo sa sugal dahil nasusunog yung pinaghirapang pera ng mga Pilipino, banatan mo yung mga operator sa tuktok,” Xian wrote.

He then expressed his belief that even if influencers stop promoting sugal, people who are already addicted may continue to play.

“Huwag yung mga influencer. Kasi kahit huminto sila sa pagpo-promote, patuloy pa ring maglalaro yung mga lulong,” he added.

In the comments section, Xian further explained his point, saying:

“Ang masama pa diyan eh habang lulong na lulong pa rin sila sa sugal eh inalisan mo ngayon ng 100 iPhones per month yung mga manggagawang Pilipino. Imbis na makatulong ka eh nakaperwisyo ka pa. Bida-bida ka,” he wrote.

He is also known for documenting his luxurious trips, experiences, and vacations in different countries.

As previously reported by KAMI, Xian called for stricter firearm safety measures involving minors amid concerns over school shootings. He questioned the practice of teaching young people, including high school students, how to handle rifles. Xian also urged lawmakers to consider penalties for adults who teach minors to use firearms, as well as gun owners who fail to properly secure their weapons. In the comments section, he reiterated his criticism of exposing children to firearms for recreational activities.

Xian also appealed to Jelai to understand his side regarding the circumstances involving Yumi when she was still a minor, while emphasizing his respect for Badger’s former wife.
