Like what we often hear, every woman's dream is to become a mother, but for Cindy Kurleto's case, it didn't come easy, as KAMI learned.

Now, the 39-year-old mother confirmed what caused her absence from showbiz in a recent one-on-one interview with GMANetwork.com.

She reportedly revealed to the source media outlet that she got diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome or better known today as PCOS.

As defined, the latter is a condition that affects the hormone levels of women, making it harder for them to get pregnant.

Cindy reportedly shared:

"At the end of my ten years in show business, I had a hormonal imbalance which led me to have PCOS and five doctors told me that I will never have children. I wasn't fertile because of the stressful environment that I was in."

However, as opposed to what the doctors told her, the beautiful former actress-model-TV host was able to give birth to two pretty girls.

Cindy's resoluteness to have children turned things around.

She confessed that she changed her lifestyle around and tried to live healthier.

Today, she's happy living a married life with her husband raising two children, namely, 9-year-old Noa, her eldest, and 2-year-old Lima, her youngest.

With this, Cindy Kurleto is reminding us all that we should be able to see the good in every situation.

She said, and we quote:

"Many people will look at it as a problem, as a downfall. But for me, the problem made my attention go in the direction that help me for the rest of my life. All of that came from that moment when I realized I wasn't healthy, I was overworking, and something negative turned into something positive and I think that was life is all about, right?"

Cindy also revealed the wondrous things she realized as a mother of two beautiful daughters.

"Becoming a mother has changed my priorities totally. Instead of saving money, I shifted to accumulating beautiful memories, things I can look back on with my children."

She added:

“It's about creating a perfect moment, enjoying here and now, being present in the moment, and making the experience for everybody enjoyable so that everyone goes away from that moment feeling refreshed. That is something I like to achieve on a daily basis and that's what my kids taught me.”

Lastly, she stressed:

"Every woman doesn't need to be a mother, not everyone has that wish. You don't have to feel pressured into being a mother but if you want to be one, it will fulfill you."
