Kapuso actress Mikee Quintos has opened up about what she hopes to find in her next relationship, emphasizing that certainty is now one of the qualities she values most in a potential partner.

Mikee discussed her love life during an interview with Boy Abunda earlier this week. The Saving Grace star also reflected on her previous relationship with actor Paul Salas, with whom she publicly confirmed a relationship in 2022. The two eventually parted ways in 2025.
Appearing with a new hairstyle, Mikee described herself as entering a new chapter of her life. She pointed to the opportunities and experiences she has recently received, including traveling to Africa, working on new projects and encountering different experiences involving animals and life in general.
“Madami. Hindi ibig sabihin maraming lalaki pero madami like projects, yung mga animals na nakita ko, life in general. I’m really excited to see what the next chapter of my life has in store for me,” she maintained.

With her previous relationship having been highly visible to the public, Mikee acknowledged that she now has a clearer idea of what she wants from a future partner. Rather than identifying a specific personality type or revealing whether she is currently dating, she focused on one quality that has become particularly important to her.
“I came from a very public relationship. Ang gusto ko ngayon yung sure, yung sigurado na sa gusto niya. Kung sino man siya ngayon, kung sino man out there. I think that’s what I’m looking for: someone who’s sure. Yun lang,” she expressed.
Mikee did not disclose whether there is already someone new in her life. Instead, her remarks suggested that she is prioritizing emotional certainty and clarity as she moves forward.
She also addressed the possibility of seeing Paul with another woman and made it clear that she would be comfortable with it.
“Oo naman. Gusto ko nga siya maging happy. Gusto ko,” she said.
Mikee revealed that she and Paul were able to have a meaningful final conversation about their relationship. Rather than allowing their four years together to be remembered negatively, the former couple agreed to carry the good memories and lessons from their relationship into their respective futures.
“Nagusap naman kami. Yung last usap namin, napagusapan namin na dalhin namin yung four years namin sa futures namin together na good pa yung memory, wag bad. So, yung lessons for each other, apply namin sa next. Ganun yung usapan namin,” she added.
As Mikee embraces what she describes as a new era, the actress appears focused on taking the lessons from her past relationship while remaining open to whatever comes next.
