Catriona Gray's Miss Universe gown designer, Mak Tumang, debunks headpiece claim of Rabiya Mateo's stylist

Catriona Gray's fashion designer for her Miss Universe gowns, Mak Tumang recently took to his Facebook page to call out Rabiya Mateo's stylist, Rain Dagala.
Rain Dagala previously released a statement regarding the missing headpiece of Rabiya's national costume for Miss Universe. In his statement, he claimed that Rabiya could not wear the headpiece due to its weight which he claimed was 15 kilograms.
However, Mak Tumang debunked this piece of information. According to the famous fashion designer, the headpiece which was made by Manny Halasan only weighed around 3 kilograms which is definitely a lot lighter than what the stylist has claimed.

Mak Tumang also wrote on his Facebook post to stop spreading false information while tagging Rain Dagala and Manny Halasan.
"Fact: Around 3 kilos lamang po ang HEADPIECE at hindi 15 kilos! Sana po yung totoo lamang na impormasyon ang ilalabas naten, let’s not spread fake news. More so, let’s not sow hate, negativity, and divisiveness. Masyado ng magulo ang mundo. Peace and love to all."
Rain Dagala addressed Mak Tumang's message and explained that it wasn't his intention to spread false news and that he simply made a mistake regarding the weight of the headpiece. The stylist also said that he will take responsibility for his statement.

Manny Halasan, the designer of the headpiece of Rabiya Mateo in the national costume segment has finally aired his side of the story. He said that nobody was at fault and while he admits that he felt hurt that it was not worn, yet he understands. He said that there was no more time for the headpiece to be fixed on Rabiya's head.
