Miss Universe 2020 2nd runner-up Janick Maceta del Castillo was obviously got touched by Rabiya Mateo’s sweet words towards her.
On her Instagram Stories, Janick shared Rabiya’s kind statement about the former.
"I remember during the preliminaries, we were praying together. We were lifting all of our worries to God. Ang sabi namin, whatever success we have, we're giving it back to the Lord. Siya 'yung parang sister ko,” Rabiya said about Janick.
The beauty queen from Peru then expressed how Rabiya became a beautiful part of her Miss Universe journey.
"Awww, my beautiful @rabiyamateo. You are the sweetest i miss you already, you are such an amazing woman, I love you and loved praying with you. See you soon in Philippines."
Miss Universe 2020 is the 69th edition of the Miss Universe competition. The global pandemic forced the Ms. Universe organization to cancel the events last year and move it to May 16, 2021 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States. Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa crowned her successor, Miss Mexico, at the end of the event.

Just recently, Rabiya once again had a social media post showcasing her queenly behavior. She took to IG to share an optimistic post a day after her Miss Universe journey ended. The Filipina beauty queen expressed how excited she is to face the future after competing in the prestigious pageant.
Netizens were also surprised after Neat Obsessions shared a video showing the process of packing Rabiya’s national costume for Miss Universe 2020 pageant. In the video, professional organizer and expert Issa Reyes of Neat Obsessions can be seen making use of cardboards, bubble wraps, and industrial film wraps to pack the costume.
