Kim Soo Hyun, a South Korean actor, has firmly denied recent allegations suggesting a past romantic relationship between him and the late actress Kim Sae Ron through his agency.

These allegations were brought to light by the YouTube channel HoverLab Inc., which claimed that the two were involved in a six-year relationship starting when Sae Ron was 15 years old.

In the report of ABS-CBN News, Gold Medalist strongly denied the claims made by the channel.

In response to the claims, Soompi reported that Gold Medalist also released an official statement asserting that the allegations made by HoverLab Inc. online are "clearly false and baseless."

They also denied claims that a manager from their company has close ties with Lee Jin Ho.

"In their broadcast, HoverLab Inc. alleged that our company and Kim Soo Hyun colluded with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho to harass the late actress Kim Sae Ron. They further claimed that Kim Soo Hyun and the late Kim Sae Ron were in a romantic relationship starting when she was 15 years old, that our company acted improperly in handling the aftermath of Kim Sae Ron’s DUI incident, and that a manager from our company has a close relationship with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho. These malicious claims directed at our company and actor Kim Soo Hyun are entirely false and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances," the statement read in Soompi's official report online.

PhilStar also reported that Gold Medalist is also considering taking strong legal action against those responsible for spreading such misinformation against their artists on social media.

This is not the first instance where dating rumors between them have surfaced online since in 2024, a photo posted by Kim Sae Ron on her Instagram account sparked similar speculations.

It is worth noting that Kim Sae Ron tragically passed away this year at the young age of 24.

Her cause of death was eventually revealed by the police and made headlines on social media.
