Thai police have already revealed in a press conference the initial results of their investigation.
Khaosod English reported that Acting Police Chief Pol Gen Kittirat Panpetch said that the initial statements of the driver Saman Chanput were contrary to what the investigators discovered.
Investigators did not find evidence as to a tire exploding.
They also stated that they discovered that there were not just 10 but 11 NGV gas tanks, and that five of them allegedly had no permit.

The situation of the bus involved in the Thailand bus fire tragedy was also revealed.
The NGV gas tanks were already 15 years old, based on their records.
In addition, the emergency door also allegedly failed to open. The said door was last inspected on May 23 this year.
