Kapuso actor Alden Richards seemed to have made his own version of confession regarding the present and true status between him and Maine Mendoza.
KAMI learned that the Victor Magtanggol star said that he and Maine are currently in the “exploration stage” where they try to be with other possible partners for TV shows.
Alden even expressed his happiness because he and the “Dubsmash Queen” still have supporters who are open-minded and who understand their current state.
“Nakakatuwa po na ang dami na rin naming supporters ni Maine na open-minded and vice-versa. This industry is very volatile,” he remarked in an interview with PEP.ph.
“Minsan, iba-iba ang makaka-partner. Pero hangga’t walang nagsasabi na tapos ang isang bagay, hindi matatapos yun. Sa ngayon po, we’re on exploration stage, kaming dalawa ni Maine,” he added.
The actor also revealed that he can already accept projects even if the leading lady is not her usual partner.
He believes his fans will give their full support and understanding on whoever artist is paired to him.
“Kung ako rin naman, ilalagay ko ang sarili ko sa shoes nila na may sobra silang sinusuportahang tandem o ina-idolize, siyempre ako, being a die-hard fan, siyempre gusto ko rin na yung sinusuportahan ko ang mag-pair-up sa isang project,” Alden explained.
“Pero ang dami na rin pong nagiging open-minded with everything that’s happening now. Nakakatuwa...” he disclosed.

In the end, the Pambansang Bae stated that the world of showbiz just revolves and explores for new pair-ups that would catch interest from viewers.
He emphasized that there is just a need for supporters and even for artists to accept whatever is given to them.
“Yun naman po talaga ang showbiz,” he expressed.
“Kailangan lang din nating maging open-minded,” he added.
