According to a report by GMA Regional TV aired on "Balitanghali" on Thursday, the woman was approached by two teenage boys as she was heading home. One of the minors allegedly pointed a knife at her during the encounter.

The two teenagers were later joined by two other companions, who reportedly took the victim’s bag. The bag contained her cellphone and ATM cards.

Police authorities said the minors involved had previously been linked to a disturbance. The incident is now being investigated as authorities work to account for all four suspects.

Three of the teenagers have already been placed under police custody. They are reportedly aged 14 and 15.

Meanwhile, authorities continue their search for the fourth suspect, a 16-year-old boy who remains at large.

The victim is expected to pursue a robbery complaint against the minors. Because of their ages, the teenagers are being treated as Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL).

The case will therefore be handled under the procedures applicable to minors involved in alleged criminal offenses.

The incident also drew attention to the circumstances surrounding the teenagers, with police noting their previous involvement in a reported disturbance.

The parents of the minors, however, declined to face the media or issue statements regarding the incident.

Authorities are expected to continue gathering information as the case moves forward, including efforts to locate the remaining suspect and determine the circumstances surrounding the alleged robbery.

The victim’s reported loss included personal and financial-access items, particularly her cellphone and ATM cards, which were taken along with her bag during the incident.
