A modern jeepney driver in Antipolo City was shot in the head at close range.
Based on early investigations, the victim was waiting for his next trip when the shooting happened.
In an interview with GMA 7's 'Balitanghali,' some witnesses said the victim had no known conflicts with anyone.
CCTV footage showed a man wearing a helmet quietly entering the jeepney terminal, where the victim was calmly using his mobile phone before the attack.

The gunman immediately fled the crime scene, leaving the bloodied victim.
The victim was rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
In another CCTV footage, the gunman was seen fleeing on a motorcycle with a rider.
According to a barangay official, the suspect, together with the ride,r was headed to Masinag and also went on the same way during their escape.
Authorities are still investigating the incident, and a manhunt operation is already being conducted in pursuit of the suspect.
The Antipolo Police has yet to issue their statement about the shooting incident.
