In the episode, the Kapuso actress discussed how her previous understanding of healing was centered on becoming stronger and, eventually, becoming seemingly immune to pain. “But maybe I’ve realized that healing is actually learning how to accept that pain exists, and still I am capable of choosing how I want to see the world, who I want to be despite it,” she continued.

Bianca’s reflection suggests that healing, in her view, is not about eliminating pain from one’s life. Instead, it involves acknowledging that painful experiences are inevitable while maintaining the ability to make choices about one’s outlook and identity.

The actress further elaborated on the thought in the caption accompanying her podcast-related post.

“Healing is not about becoming stronger, so nothing can hurt you anymore. 💖🍀,” she wrote.

Bianca acknowledged that people cannot completely control how the world treats them. She pointed out that disappointment, loss and other painful experiences will remain realities of life.
