Claudine Barretto took a moment to remember the late director Wenn Deramas on his birthday with a short but heartfelt message.

In an Instagram post, Claudine shared a photo, and she wrote, “if you could see me now. Happy Birthday in Heaven Direk Wenn”

While the actress kept her message brief, her words showed how important Direk Wenn remained to her.

The two had a close relationship that went beyond their work together in the entertainment industry.

Direk Wenn was known as one of Claudine's regular television directors. According to PEP.ph, they worked together on six teleseryes over the years.

Their bond was something Direk Wenn himself had spoken about before.

In a past interview with PEP.ph, the filmmaker described his connection with Claudine and Rico as more than just a professional relationship.
