According to The Philippine STAR, Judy Ann shared that she turned to life coach Pia Acevedo, whom she first met years ago while working on an ABS-CBN reality show for couples. They reconnected in 2018, and the familiarity and trust they had built made it easier for Judy Ann to seek her guidance. “Hindi naman kasi kailangan na may pinagdadaanan po. Kung minsan kailangan mo lang ng kausap, yung tamang perspective na manggagaling sa ibang tao, hindi huhusga sa desisyon,” she said.
The actress, host, and chef explained that life coaching can help provide a clearer and wider perspective without dictating the decisions a person should make. She also stressed that seeking a life coach does not automatically mean someone is dealing with depression, anxiety, or a serious crisis.
Judy Ann said one of the most valuable things she learned was the importance of appreciating herself while managing her responsibilities as an actress, businesswoman, mother, wife, and daughter. “More of appreciating yourself, kasi most of the time, we under-appreciate ourselves because we’re very busy in life,” she shared.
