Fortunately, a passing tricycle that was delivering water happened to be in the area.

Without hesitation, two delivery boys jumped into action, grabbing water containers from their vehicle and rushing to douse the flames.

Their quick response helped prevent the fire from spreading further.

Other residents also stepped in, bringing pails of water to assist in controlling the fire.

Despite their efforts, the fire continued to burn, prompting further intervention.

Barangay administrator Joey Lacson soon arrived at the scene carrying a fire extinguisher.

He successfully put out the remaining flames, ensuring the fire was fully controlled.

Lacson later shared that several children had been shouting for help, which alerted the barangay officials to the situation.

Thanks to the immediate actions of the delivery boys, concerned residents, and the barangay administrator, a potentially dangerous situation was swiftly handled.

Authorities remind the public to always stay vigilant and ensure proper vehicle maintenance to prevent similar incidents in the future.
