- Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and the other four co-accused of the religious leader, will remain at the Philippine National Police custodial center

- This is located in Camp Crame in Quezon City

- This was despite a court order for their transfer to the Quezon City jail

- Earlier, uncovered mugshots were shared by DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos

In Inquirer's report, Col. Jean Fajardo, spokesperson of PNP, said that the agency does not want to face the risk of the accused putting up bail.

"We don't want to run the risk of transferring them to QC (jail) then post a bail... We just really have to harmonize these court orders."

Earlier, DIlG Secretary Benhur Abalos released the official mugshots of the religious leader and his co-accused.

This time around, the mugshots were not covered unlike the previous ones released by the PNP to the media where the face of the religious leader was blurred.

Based on the report of News5, the five mugshots were those of the pastor, Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, Cresente Canada, and Sylvia Cemañes.

Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy’s lawyer, Atty. Israelito Torreon, has issued a statement as regards the surrender of the preacher yesterday, September 8, 2024.

In a video posted on SMNI News socmed page, Atty. Torreon said Pastor Quiboloy “decided to submit himself to the folds of the law” because he can’t bear to see that the rights of his followers are already “being trampled upon.”

Apollo Carreon Quiboloy is a church leader in the Philippines. He is the leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. He has made claims that he is "The Appointed Son of God" as well as being "The Owner of the Universe".

In an earlier update, DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos posted about Pastor Quiboloy. In his post, Sec. Abalos posted a photo of the preacher along with the caption "Nahuli na si Pastor Quiboloy!"

In a statement later by the Philippine National Police, the PNP Spokesperson, PCol. Jean Fajardo, said Pastor Apollo Quiboloy surrendered after the PNP allegedly gave him a 24-hour ultimatum to turn himself in. She also said that negotiations of the PNP and AFP began around 1:30 in the afternoon last Sunday. After his surrender, the preacher was brought to Camp Crame for processing.
