- The wheelchair ramp at the PhilAm station at EDSA Carousel was found to have exceeded the required angle of inclination under the law

- According to GMA News, the required angle should be at 4.8 degrees

- However, an inclinometer found that the angle of the ramp at one pint was at 14.15 degrees

- The MMDA has already released a statement, admitting taht while it may not be perfect, it could still be very useful for PWDs, pregnant women and senior citizens

The angle of the PWD or wheelchair ramp at the PhilAm station at EDSA Carousel was found to have exceeded the required angle of 4.8 degrees under the law.

On GMA News' report, it showed that the angle of the PWD ramp reached 14.15 degrees, way higher than the recommended 4.8 degrees.

The difference is almost 10 degrees.

The MMDA has already issued a statement regarding the ramp.

"Ukol sa viral photo ng rampa sa EDSA-Philam station ng Busway station sa Quezon City, nais namin ipabatid na mayroong height restriction ang MRT na sinunod ng MMDA kaya hindi naging posible na ipantay ang elevator sa footbridge.
Hindi ito perpektong disenyo lalo na sa mga naka wheelchair pero malaking tulong pa rin ito para sa mga senior citizens, buntis at ibang PWDs sa halip na umakyat gamit ang hagdan.
Magtatalaga ang MMDA ng mga kawani para umasiste sa mga PWDs kung mahirapan sila pumanhik ng rampa.
Kumpara sa nag-viral na photo, hindi ito masyadong matarik kung lalakaran.
Inilagay ang rampa dahil sa limitadong espasyo at kung wala ito ay hindi maiilagay ang elevator sa istruktura para sa convenience ng mga commuters na sumasakay sa busway station.

However, upon his second return, he set fire to some of the money.
