Sitting down as a guest on her sister, Dani Barretto's podcast, The Bare It All, Julia delved into the dynamics of unreciprocated effort and emotional fatigue within relationships.
Julia reflected on how patiently women tend to hold on and hope for change:
"Because women are yearners all throughout the relationship, and if they're still empty in the duration of them giving and giving and yearning and yearning for somebody who is not capable of reciprocating or giving you the kind of love that you need..."

When asked about the turning point where someone chooses to leave, Julia emphasized that walking away is never easy, but it often brings decisive finality to the woman as well:
"In the end, it's not that it's easier—it's never easy—but then there's no more yearning while you're letting go. Because for a woman, it takes so much for you to decide to have to let go."
"By the time you're in that phase, it kind of feels like it has to be done. So nawawala na rin yung ini-yearn mo yung taong nawawala na sayo. Parang, it's time."
Dani also affirmed Julia's points, adding that reaching the point of walking away usually means a person has completely emptied their tank:
"For a woman to be able to say that, na-turn off ka na eh. Yung parang napagod ka na doon, or pigang-piga ka na for you to stop yearning for someone. Or wala na yung respect. Doon mo na mare-realize na parang, 'Ano pang point?'" Julia agreed, noting that by then, "Wala ka nang i-yearn eh."
The podcast clip quickly gained traction online, with listeners and netizens commending Julia for her maturity, emotional clarity, and grounded perspective on self-worth in romantic relationships.
